  • List of multiplication and division questions.

Explanation

Students start on the basketball court outside (or other outside area). Two taggers are picked (I chose 1 boy and 1 girl) and they tag anyone in the class. Once someone gets tagged, they must return to their colour team and answer a multiplication equation such as ( 4 x A = 12) or a division equation, (72 / D = 9). Stop the game every 3 minutes to make sure everyone is answering questions. To start the game again pick 2 new taggers.

Participants’ feedback on activity

The kids liked this activity. All of the kids wanted an opportunity to be the tagger. Sometimes only a few kids want to be a tagger. That was nice to see.
